Paragliding in Famara, Lanzarote
Lanzarote is one of Europe's premier winter Paragliding destinations. When the rest of Europe is freezing cold, raining or snowing Lanzarote is enjoying weather that is better than Summer's in the rest of Europe. Most paraglider pilot visiting Lanzarote can find places to paraglide almost every day for every wind direction, Famara being the islands best flying.

When the wind in Lanzarote goes between west and north then one of the most spectacular flying routes in Europe becomes available, this is known as the Famara ridge run.

The nice thing about Lanzarote for paraglider pilots is that there are plenty of landing options and also plenty to do the rest of the family. Weather it is all but guaranteed.

Famara is a perfect place to stay for paraglider pilot. From the bungalow there are amazing panoramic views of the beach where the family can spend the day and the pilot can land in the evening.
