About Famara, Lanzarote

The main attraction at Famara has to be the beach, whilst not suitable for swimming; it is a surfer’s paradise. The working village of La Caleta de Famara is found at one end of the beach, this is predominately a fishing village that boasts some great tapas bars and restaurants to relax in. Famara cliffs dominate the other end of the beach and are some 450m high.

Ideally situated on famara beach, a paradise for water sports including surfing, kitesurfing and windsurfing. Schools and instruction available for both surfing and kite surfing locally. A 2 minute drive to Caleta de Famara which has an array of restaurants specialising in locally caught fish and Spanish cuisine. Great for walking and cycling and only 10 minutes drive to the historic town of Teguise.
